Those that know me best will often remark that I, Rory Sloane, am the quintessential gal’s gal. My fondness for figure loving skirts, old Hollywood glam, cookin’ for love, and that maternal pat on the back earned me the nickname Mother Michaels in grade 4. I’m sure then, it will come as quite a surprise that the key to many of my wardrobe gold stars are inspired by hardcore men’s garb.

Wrapping myself up in one of designer Greg Climer’s hat and scarf combos gives me that certain air and I say, ”Cool? Who me?” The amazing accessory, cashmere on the inside and lambskin on the outside, is from the men’s line Godspeed the Well-Dressed Man. Mr. Climer has gotten quite the press in the last year but I wish this line would circulate even more! I know plenty a boy and plenty a girl in need of keepin’ it simple and standing out in the dull dusks of the winter freeze. You’ll be sure to spot me with my metallic hood striding down the street. Don’t you think that Jake Gyllenhaal and I would look great in a matching set?

For now, you can purchase Climer’s line in select New York or San Francisco boutiques or by emailing thewelldressedman@gmail.com. But the site is most definitely recommended for fashion inspiration via mega-hot eye candy.
