I’ve been blogging on style for awhile now but to see the chemical reaction to visual search + shopping engine…it’s oil and water.

Dudes, I know you might not give a flying fig about finding rocks like Diddy’s got. There’s options for you too, like…

1. Listen to the woman in your life when she says, “Don’t you love Jessica Simpson’s shoes?” Don’t answer, just smile and nod knowing that you can find something similar for her and play the high heel finding hero.

2. Start with a simple text search describing your father’s watch, the broken one you’d love to replace as a holiday gift. Browse through the results and start your Likeness Search™ to get a similar match. Works for replacing those favorite shoes that are embarrassingly worn through or your running sneakers that are breaking down but you can’t stop training long enough to go to a store and wait for someone to ring you up.

3. Searching Like’s celebrities can be a How-To in impressive dressing. Click Tom or George for dressed-up sex appeal, kick back in the style of Brad Pitt or Nick Lachey (can’t knock a guy who’s nailed both Jessica Simpson and Vanessa Minillo). No need to have set your look in stone. A quick Likeness Search™ on Clay Aiken will tell you if your personal style sense is heading where you’d like it to. Or not.

Dear Clay,

My Dad would look great in your suit.

Love,

Jacquie

Try a trend…ankle boots are the shoe du jour, just ask Mischa, Sienna, Fergie, and the rest of YHH.* Don’t be left out because you can grow hair on your toes like a Hobbit. Men’s dress boots are versatile.

Choose a rounder toe with contrast stitching detail with a suit.

Pair jeans, a tee, and blazer with a simpler, rugged grain leather boot.
