Kate Beckinsale is Instyle's Look of the Day in pink Prada

I like Kate Beckinsale’s fashion - we’ve featured her a few times in the Celeb Looks We Like section. AND I usually agree with InStyle’s Look of the Day pick, even though it feels like they’re kissing up to particular starlets at times.

Kate’s frothy pink confection of a dress is by Prada. And while it fits her well, it feels out of place for a September soiree in Santa Monica. I’m confused by the black shoulder strap and black pumps.

I vote for Alexis Bledel’s graphic frock and chunky ankle boots.
